Salt spray test

A salt spray test is like giving a toy a bath but instead of water, we use salty water. We want to see if the toy will get rusty if it gets wet with salty water because sometimes things get rusty when they get wet with saltwater.

So, we take the toy and we put it in a special room where we make salty water. Then, we put the toy in the salty water bath and we leave it there for a little while.

After some time, we take the toy out of the salty water and we look at it to see if it got rusty or not. If it didn't get rusty, it means the toy is good and it can be sold to people who live near the ocean, where there is a lot of salty water.

This test helps us make sure that the things we make will work well even in places where there is a lot of salty water, like near the ocean.
