Samaveda

Okay, so you know how people like to sing songs and dance to music? Well, in olden times, people in India used to do the same thing during their religious ceremonies! They would sing special songs called "mantras" that praised their gods and goddesses.

Now, the Samaveda is a very special book that has all of these mantras written down. People used to say that the mantras in the Samaveda were so beautiful that they could make the gods and goddesses themselves come and listen to them!

But here's the really cool part: the Samaveda mantras are not just regular songs. They are actually made up of many smaller sounds called "Swaras," which are like musical notes. These swaras were arranged in a very special way so that the songs would sound really pretty and soothing.

So, in short, the Samaveda is a book of beautiful songs called mantras that people in India used to sing during religious ceremonies. And these mantras were made up of special swaras which made them sound extra pretty!
