Sarasvati River

Dear kiddo,

The Sarasvati river is a really old and important river that used to flow in a part of the world called India many years ago. It is not easy to see the river now, but people have found evidence of it through things like old texts, maps and images.

The river was important because many people lived near it and used it for different things like drinking water, bathing and growing crops. It was also considered sacred by some people who believed that a goddess named Sarasvati lived in the river.

The Sarasvati river was believed to have started in the Himalayan mountains and flowed all the way down to the Arabian Sea. But over time, the river changed its course and started drying up. Today, there is not much left of it, but people still remember it as a very special and important river.

Hope that helps, little one!
