Sarco pod

A sarco pod is a large, sea-dwelling animal. They have a long body, four flippers and a big head with a long neck. The most famous sarco pod is the gigantic blue whale which can grow up to 100 feet long and weigh more than 200 tons. The biggest land animal is the African Elephant which weighs about 10 tons. Sarco pods are very interesting because their bodies are filled with a thick oil called blubber which helps them stay warm in cold waters. They also have a special type of lungs that take in oxygen from the water and then push it back out as they swim. Sarco pods live in every ocean in the world and eat small fishes and plankton.
