ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Satis Cognitum

Satis cognitum is a fancy Latin phrase that means "adequately understood." It's basically like saying, "I get it! I understand it well enough!"

Imagine that you're learning something new, like how to ride a bike. At first, it might seem really confusing and hard to understand. But as you practice and learn more, you start to get the hang of it. You pedal with your feet, you steer the handlebars, and you balance your weight so you don't fall over.

Eventually, you start to feel like you know how to ride the bike pretty well. You might still make some mistakes or wobble a bit, but overall you feel like you understand the basic idea of riding a bike. That's kind of like knowing something satis cognitum. It means you have a good enough understanding of something that you can use it or explain it to someone else.
