Satsang

Okay kiddo, let's talk about satsang!

Satsang is a special gathering of people who come together to learn and talk about spirituality. It's like going to a class, but instead of learning about math or history, we learn about things like kindness, compassion, and love.

The word "satsang" comes from two Sanskrit words: "sat" which means truth, and "sang" which means being in the company of. So when we go to satsang, we are in the company of truth.

At satsang, we sit together and listen to someone who has a lot of knowledge about spirituality. This person is called a teacher or a guru. They share their thoughts and ideas with us, and we get to ask them questions too.

Satsang is a very peaceful and happy gathering. We feel calm and loved when we're there. We learn how to be better people and how to treat others with kindness and respect.

In some cultures, satsang is also a way to show respect and love for a religious leader or guru. People might bring gifts or food to the gathering to show their appreciation.

So, that's satsang! It's a special gathering where we learn about spirituality, feel calm and happy, and show our love and respect for a teacher or guru.
