Hey there little one! So, you know how there are some numbers that everyone uses in science because they're really important? Well, sometimes those numbers are named after the people who figured them out!
For example, there's something called "Avogadro's constant" named after a man named Amedeo Avogadro. He figured out that if you have a certain amount of a gas, there will always be the same number of tiny particles (called "molecules") in it. Scientists use this number a lot when they're studying gases.
Another constant is called "Planck's constant", named after Max Planck. He discovered that energy is not continuous, but comes in little packets (called "quanta"). This constant helps scientists understand things like light and atoms.
There are lots of other constants named after people, and it's a way to remember and honor the people who have made really important discoveries in science. Pretty cool, huh?
