Scientology and the Internet

Scientology is a belief system that some people follow, kind of like how some people follow different religions like Christianity or Islam. Unlike most religions, Scientology has a lot of secrets and information that they only tell people who are part of their group.

The internet is a big digital place where people can find information about almost anything they want to know. Some people who used to be in Scientology and didn't like it decided to share secret information online, so that other people could learn about what really goes on in Scientology. This made the leaders of Scientology really angry, because they want to keep their secrets secret.

So, Scientology and the internet are kind of like two groups that don't get along. Scientology doesn't like the internet because people can learn things that they don't want them to know, and people who don't like Scientology use the internet to share information that they believe everyone should know.
