Streisand effect

The Streisand Effect is a phenomenon where when you try to hide, remove, or censor something, you have the opposite effect - it gets more attention than it otherwise would. It's named after a famous singer called Barbra Streisand. She once tried to sue someone for taking pictures of her home and posting them online. Instead of making the pictures go away, lots of people saw them because of all of the news reports and people talking about it. So the Streisand Effect is all about the attention you get when you try to hide something!
