Sebil (fountain)

A sebil is like a special machine that gives water to people who are really thirsty. It looks like a small house with a little roof and walls made of stones or tiles. Sometimes it has a door to keep the water clean and fresh. Inside the sebil, there is a spout where water comes out like a magic trick. The water flows from a big tank or a well kept underground, and it never stops!

Modern sebils may have a tap instead of a spout, and they may be made of concrete instead of stone, but they still serve the same purpose - to quench people's thirst and satisfy their souls.
