Self-esteem is how we feel about ourselves. It is how we think and feel about ourselves, and how we see ourselves in comparison to other people. When we have a healthy self-esteem, we feel good about ourselves and believe we can accomplish our goals and do great things. We also trust our own judgement, and we accept our mistakes. When we don't have a healthy self-esteem, we feel bad about ourselves and think that we can't do anything right. We might also compare ourself to other people and feel that they are better than us. To improve our self-esteem, we can focus on the good things about ourselves, treat ourselves with kindness and respect, and try new things.
