Self-help is when you help yourself feel better or do better things. It's like a way of taking care of yourself. It means doing things to make sure you feel good about yourself and to make sure you can do the things you need to do. It includes things like reading books or articles about how to be healthier and happier, learning how to relax and stay calm, thinking positively, and setting and achieving your goals.
