Semacode

Semacode is like a secret code that your phone can read. You know how sometimes grown-ups scan a barcode at the grocery store to see how much something costs? Well, semacodes work kind of like that, but instead of just telling you the price, they can take you to cool things on the internet!

A semacode looks like a square made up of little black and white squares, kind of like a checkerboard. When your phone's camera sees a semacode, it can read the code and understand what it means. Then, your phone can take you to a website, show you a video, or even give you directions to a place you want to go!

It's like magic! But really, it's just technology that helps your phone understand what you want it to do when you see one of those funny-looking squares.
