Sets of carriages

Ok kiddo, so imagine you're playing with a bunch of toy cars. Now, imagine that these toy cars are connected to each other and can't be separated. That's called a set of carriages.

Sometimes, real life trains have sets of carriages too. These carriages are connected to each other and can't be separated easily. If you want to take a carriage out, you have to disconnect it from the other carriages first.

Sets of carriages can be different shapes and sizes depending on the type of train or toy you're playing with. It's like building a Lego train, where you put several Lego pieces together to form one long train.

When you see a set of carriages on a real train, they usually have different purposes. Some carriages are for passengers to sit in, and others are for carrying cargo like food, clothing or even animals.

So, that's what a set of carriages is - it's a group of connected cars that can't be separated easily, and they serve different purposes depending on the train you're looking at.
