Sextic equation

So kiddo, have you heard of math equations before? They are like puzzles that have missing parts, and we have to find out what those missing parts are by doing some calculations.

Now a sextic equation is a special type of math equation where the highest power of the variable (which is usually represented by the letter x) is six. That's why it's called a "sextic" equation because "sext" means six in Latin.

It's kind of like trying to solve this puzzle:

_ _ _ _ _ _ = 30

We know the answer is 30, but we don't know what the missing parts are. It could be 5+5+5+5+5+5 or it could be 4+4+4+4+4+10.

Similarly, in a sextic equation, we know what the answer should be when we plug in a certain value for x, but we don't know what x actually is.

Now, solving a sextic equation can be tricky and requires some special techniques. We usually use something called the "factoring method" to break down the equation into smaller parts, or we can also use a graphing calculator or computer program to solve it.
