Sham peer review

Sham peer review is when doctors, nurses, or other medical personnel write fake or dishonest reviews to try and help their coworkers or friends. For example, if a doctor was trying to get a friend or coworker hired at a hospital, they might write a positive review that wasn't honest. It's wrong because it can lead to people getting a job who aren't qualified, or it can make it harder for people who are qualified to get hired.
