ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Shape of the universe

The shape of the universe is like a big balloon. Think of it like one big bubble that is constantly expanding. The shape of the balloon is round, like a ball, and it has no edges like the surface of a pool. Everything in the universe is inside this big bubble and is constantly growing, like an ever-expanding balloon. Scientists don't know what's beyond the edge of the balloon or how big the universe is, so it's still a mystery!
