A sheep station is like a big farm where lots of sheep live. Just like how you have a room or a house where you live, sheep have big pastures where they can graze and roam around. The people who take care of the sheep station are called shepherds. They make sure that the sheep have enough grass to eat and fresh water to drink, and they also look out for any sick or injured sheep.
Sheep stations are usually found in places where there is lots of grass and wide-open spaces, like in the countryside or out in the mountains. The sheep are usually raised for their wool, which is used to make things like sweaters, blankets, and even carpets. Sometimes the sheep are also raised for their meat, which is called lamb or mutton.
Taking care of a sheep station can be hard work, but it's also very important. Without the shepherds, the sheep wouldn't have anyone to take care of them and they might get sick or hurt. Plus, we wouldn't have all the great things that are made from sheep's wool!
