Rangeland is like a big open area where there are no houses or buildings, but instead, there are lots of plants and animals! It's like a playground for cows, sheep, deer, and even horses. Rangeland is important because it provides food and shelter for these animals, as well as a safe place for them to roam and play.
But, just like how we have to take care of our rooms and clean up after ourselves, we have to take care of rangeland too. People who take care of rangelands are called ranchers, and they make sure that the animals living there don't eat too much grass or destroy the land. They also make sure that the plants and animals living in the rangeland are healthy, so that they can keep playing and living there for a long time.
