Shifta

Shifta is a word that comes from a language called Amharic, which is spoken in Ethiopia. It means "to move" or "to lift up." In some parts of Ethiopia, people use this word to describe a type of robber. These robbers often target cars and trucks that are carrying goods, like food or clothes.
