Shinigami

Have you ever watched or read a story about Japanese anime or manga? Well, shinigami is a character that usually appears in them. Shinigami are similar to what you know as the Grim Reaper, but with a few differences.

So, imagine that there is a world where there are supernatural beings, and one of them is called a shinigami. These shinigami are often responsible for guiding souls of dead people to the afterlife.

In this supernatural world, there are rules that the shinigami have to follow. They often have a quota of souls that they need to collect, and if they fail to do so, they might suffer some sort of punishment.

Shinigami have some cool abilities too! They can see people's remaining lifespans and can extend them if they see fit. But they also have to obey the rules about how much they can extend a person's lifespan.

In some stories, shinigami are portrayed as being kind and helpful to humans. In others, they might be more sinister and cause trouble for humans. Either way, they are usually exciting characters to learn about!
