Signcryption

Signcryption is kind of like sending a secret message that only the person you want to read it can see. It's like when you have a secret code language with your best friend, but even more complicated.

Here's how it works:
First, you have to have a special key that is used to turn your message into a code that can only be read by the person you want to send it to. This key is also used to make sure that nobody else can read or change your message along the way.

Then you write your message, or maybe draw a picture or send a picture over the internet. Before you send it, you use your special key to turn it into a secret code. This secret code looks like a bunch of letters and numbers that don't make sense to anyone except your friend who has the special key to unlock it.

Once your friend gets your secret code message, they use their own special key to unlock it and turn it back into the original message you sent. And since only you and your friend have the special keys, nobody else can see or change the message.
