Siren (noisemaker)

A siren is a really loud noisemaker that makes a high-pitched wailing sound. It is used to get people's attention and warn them about something important.

Do you remember when you were playing with your toy car and pretended to be a police officer or a firefighter? Well, those real-life heroes use sirens on their vehicles to let other drivers and people on the street know that they are coming through, and they need to clear the way.

The siren is powered by electricity or air and has a rotating disk or rotor inside of it. When the electricity or air starts moving the rotor, it creates sound waves that go out into the air and make that loud, wailing sound we hear.

Sirens are also used in emergency situations like natural disasters or attacks to alert people to take action and stay safe. In summary, sirens are really loud noisemakers that help warn and alert people in different situations.
