Skeletal animation

Skeletal animation is a way of making cartoons and video games with moving characters. It involves making a "skeleton" or a series of linked lines and shapes that represent the bones and muscles inside a character. Then, computer programmers "animate" the character by having the skeleton move the way real skeleton does when a person moves. It makes the character look like it's really walking, talking, or dancing.
