Ski resort

A ski resort is a big outdoor playground for people who like to play in the snow. It's like going to a really big playground with rides, but instead of rides, there are places to ski, snowboard, and play in the snow.

Imagine a big, snowy hill with lots of different paths going down it. Those paths are called ski runs, and they're different colors depending on how hard they are. Some are easy, like green, some are a bit harder, like blue, and some are really difficult, like black.

When you go to a ski resort, you usually pay for a special ticket to ride up to the top of the hill on a big chairlift or a gondola, and then you can ski or snowboard down as many times as you want until the end of the day.

At the resort, there are usually lots of different buildings where you can rent equipment like skis, snowboards, boots, and helmets. There are also places to buy food, drinks, and snacks because playing in the snow can make you really hungry and thirsty!

Some ski resorts even have special trails for people who don't want to ski or snowboard. They might have snowshoeing or tubing, which is like sliding down a hill on a big inner tube, or ice skating.

Overall, a ski resort is a super fun place to go and play in the snow, ride on the lifts, and make memories with your friends and family!
