Skunkworks project

A skunkworks project is a type of project where a small group of people work quickly to come up with a new product, process, or idea. The idea is that by working quickly, the group can come up with something without all the bureaucracy and red tape of a big company. The skunkworks team often works in secret and has a lot of freedom to experiment and come up with new ideas. They don't have to report to a lot of bosses or explain what they are doing. They just have to get the job done however they think is best.
