Sleep tracking

Ok kiddo, so you know how when we go to sleep, we close our eyes and our body gets all nice and relaxed? Well, sometimes grown-ups like to know how well they are sleeping and if they are getting enough rest. That's where sleep tracking comes in!

Sleep tracking is like having a special helper that watches over you while you sleep. This helper can be a fancy watch or a phone app. It keeps track of how much time you spend sleeping, what stage of sleep you are in, and how often you wake up during the night.

There are different stages of sleep. The first stage is when you are just starting to fall asleep and your body is relaxing. The second stage is when your body is resting and your brain is starting to slow down. The third and fourth stages are called deep sleep and this is when your body is doing a lot of important things like growing and healing. The last stage is called REM sleep and this is when you have crazy dreams.

Sleep tracking helps adults understand how long they are spending in each stage of sleep and if they are getting enough of each stage. Sometimes, if a grown-up is not sleeping well, they can use this information to make changes in their bedtime routine to help them get a better night's sleep!

So, sleep tracking is like a secret helper who watches over you and helps grown-ups figure out how they can sleep better at night!
