Slowly changing dimension

A Slowly Changing Dimension is a way to manage changes in data (like people's addresses) over time. It works by keeping track of how different versions of the data looked in the past, so that you can look back and see what it used to be. So if a person's address changes, the Slowly Changing Dimension will track both the old and the new address, so that you can see how the address has changed over time.
