Smelly socks

Okay kiddo, so when we wear socks, our feet sweat because they are in shoes all day. Sweat is kind of like water, but it has some other stuff in it too. Bacteria love to grow in warm, moist places like our feet in socks, especially when we wear the same socks for a long time. The bacteria eat the sweat and make stinky gases as a waste product. These gases mix with the sweat and oils on our skin and that's why our socks smell bad. That's why it's important to change our socks every day and wash them to get rid of the bacteria and the stinky smell.
