Have you ever blown bubbles with a straw and soap water? Bubbles are basically a round, shiny ball made out of soapy water! Soap is a special material that helps water form a very thin sheet around itself when it is mixed with air. When we blow air into the soapy water, the air gets trapped inside the soap sheet and forms a bubble.
The soapy water has something called 'surface tension,' which means that it sticks together really well on the surface. This is why the soap bubble stays round and does not break apart easily. The soapy water also keeps the air inside the bubble because it is thicker than regular air.
Bubbles can come in all sorts of shapes and sizes, and they are really fun to play with! But remember, bubbles can easily pop if they touch something, so be careful not to touch them too hard.
