Social apartheid is when certain groups of people are treated differently from others based on their race or social status. It's like when kids at school won't let someone play with them because they dress differently or have a different skin color. They are being excluded or separated.
But it's not just a matter of playing or not playing. In social apartheid, certain groups of people are denied opportunities to go to good schools, access to healthcare, or fair treatment by the police or justice system.
It's like if some kids at school got to go on all the fun field trips, get the best teachers, and have extra help with homework while others were left behind with outdated textbooks and unsupported teachers. Eventually, the kids who were left behind would be at a big disadvantage throughout their lives, simply because of things they couldn't control, like where they were born or how much money their parents had.
Unfortunately, social apartheid happens in many places around the world, and it's a big problem because it's not fair, and it makes it harder for some groups of people to succeed in life. We should all try to treat everyone with kindness and fairness, regardless of their background or social status.
