Classism is when people treat others differently because of the social or economic class they are in. It means people with money or higher social status are treated better than people with less money or lower social status. For example, people with money might be invited to special events or clubs, while people with less money may not be able to go. Classism can also mean that people with more money or social status are able to get better jobs and live in nicer places than people with less money.
