Social choice theory

Social choice theory is about how to make decisions about what is best for a group of people. It's like when a family has to decide what to have for dinner. Everyone in the family has different ideas, so the family can use social choice theory to decide what they should all agree on. Social choice theory includes ideas like voting, and figuring out the best way to put everyone's ideas into one decision.
