Social media spam

Social media spam is when someone sends messages or posts that are annoying, not wanted or easy to ignore. It's like getting a lot of junk mail in your mailbox, but on social media. The messages are usually from people you don't know and it's not something you're interested in. The people sending this spam want to get you to do something, like buy something or click on a link. It's best to ignore spam and don't click on anything it tells you to do.
