Social structure

Social structure is like family rules. It is a way that people in a group or society figure out how to do things or talk to each other. For example, in some groups or societies, it is polite to say please and thank you. In other groups or societies, people might have different rules for being polite. Social structure might tell people what gender roles or jobs to have, too.
