Sociocultural theory

Sociocultural theory is a way of explaining how people learn. It says that people learn by watching other people and seeing how they act. We learn how to act in certain social situations like how to say “hello” or how to introduce ourselves to others by seeing other people do it. When we then do it ourselves, it helps us to fit in with our peers. So sociocultural theory is all about how people learn by interacting with each other in a social group or culture.
