Solid sorbents for carbon capture

Solid sorbents are materials that can be used to capture carbon dioxide from tiny particles in the air. They work by having lots of tiny small spaces inside them where the carbon dioxide particles get stuck. The sorbent material then traps the carbon dioxide and separates it from the air. Once it is trapped it can be used for things like making carbonated drinks, fertilizers and even storing energy.
