Soliton

Soliton is like a special kind of wave. Imagine you are in a swimming pool and you create a wave by moving your hand back and forth in the water. This normal wave spreads out and slows down as it moves. But a soliton is different. It's a wave that can travel really far without losing its shape or speed.

So, imagine you have a toy boat in the pool and you make a soliton wave by tapping your hand on the side of the pool. This wave will travel really fast and far without changing its shape. It will keep moving until it hits the end of the pool or something else in its way.

Solitons can also be found in other things like light, sound, and even traffic on a highway. They have very special properties that make them different from other waves. Scientists study solitons to understand more about how they work and how they can be used in technology.
