ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Soma cube

Okay kiddo, have you ever played with building blocks? The soma cube is sort of like a more grown-up version of that. It's a puzzle made up of seven different wooden shapes that you have to fit together into a cube.

Each shape is made up of little squares called "cubes" that are all the same size. The shapes each have a different number of cubes, and they're all different colors too. You can think of them like really big, three-dimensional versions of the little squares you use to build with.

So, the point of the puzzle is to take all seven shapes and fit them together so that they make a big cube without leaving any gaps. It's a bit like a jigsaw puzzle - you have to figure out which shape goes where, and it takes some trial and error to get everything to fit.

The soma cube is actually a pretty tricky puzzle, and it can be really satisfying to solve it. Some people even use it as a brain teaser to challenge their minds and keep them sharp. But no matter how hard it is, remember that it's just a fun game and it's okay to take your time and enjoy the process!
