Sonic Interaction Design is a kind of design where people use sounds instead of visuals to help them interact with technology. It is like a way to use sound to tell people what to do when they use a device or software. For example, a telephone might make a beeping sound when you dial a number so it tells you when it is ready to dial the number and when it is finished dialing.
