Soundscape

A soundscape is like a big picture made of sounds. Just like a painting is a picture made of colors, a soundscape is a picture made of different sounds. If you listen closely, you can hear lots of different sounds around you such as cars, birds, people talking, and music. When you put all those sounds together, it creates a soundscape.

For example, imagine you are standing in a park. You might hear the sound of leaves rustling in the wind, the chirping of birds, the laughter of children playing, and the distant sound of cars driving by. All of these sounds together create a soundscape of the park.

Soundscape is important because it can affect how we feel and behave. If the soundscape around us is calm and peaceful, we might feel relaxed and happy. On the other hand, if the sounds around us are loud and chaotic, we might feel stressed and unhappy.

People can even create soundscape on purpose. Musicians are experts at creating soundscape. They use different instruments and sounds to create a specific mood or feeling in their music. So, next time you hear lots of sounds around you, try to think of it as a big picture made of sounds - a soundscape.
