ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Sorrow (emotion)

Sorrow is a feeling you have when something really, really sad happens. It's like when your favorite toy gets broken or your best friend moves far away. You might feel really sad, and your heart might feel heavy and achy. Sometimes you might cry a lot or feel like you don't want to do anything. Sorrow is a very normal feeling to have when something sad happens. It's okay to feel sorrow and it's okay to take your time to feel better. It can help to talk to someone you trust or do things that make you happy. Just remember that even though you feel really sad right now, it won't feel like this forever.
