Suffering is when things don't go the way we want or expect, and it can be physical or emotional. Physical suffering can be things like pain or feeling sick, when our bodies don't feel good. Emotional suffering is when our feelings get hurt or we're upset or scared. We all experience suffering at some point in our lives. It's normal and it's okay. We can try to reduce our suffering by knowing that it's normal, getting help from our friends or family, and doing things that help us feel better.
