Spambot

A spambot is a kind of computer program (or robot) that is made to automatically send lots and lots of emails or messages with ads or junk content. The spambot does this so quickly that it can overwhelm our normal email inboxes or social media accounts, making them hard to use. Spambots can also try to guess passwords and access accounts that belong to real people, in order to hijack them or send more junk messages.
