Spark plug

Okay, so a car has an engine that makes it go vroom vroom. In the engine, there are little explosions that make it work. But how do these explosions happen? That's where a spark plug comes in!

A spark plug is kind of like a tiny lightning bolt maker. It's a little metal stick with a special part on the end called an electrode. When the engine is running, it sends some electricity to the spark plug. The spark plug uses this electricity to make a big spark that goes zap! This spark explodes the gas and air mixture in the engine, making the engine work.

But why does a car need spark plugs? Well, spark plugs help make sure the engine is working efficiently. If the spark plugs aren't working right, the engine might not work as well or might use more gas than it needs to. Plus, if the spark plugs are really worn out, the car might not start at all!

So that's the basics of a spark plug. It's a little lightning bolt maker that helps make your car go vroom vroom!
