Spin density wave

A spin density wave is like a wave pattern in a material, like water waves. Instead of water, there's a pattern of how little magnets (called "spins") line up. The magnets all have their own direction and they can line up and make a pattern, just like water waves can line up and move in one direction. Some materials can have a pattern like this and scientists can study it.
