Spite house

A spite house is a type of building that someone builds just to make someone else angry or upset. It's like when you might do something mean to your sibling, like hide their favorite toy, just because they did something that made you mad.

Usually, spite houses are small and don't really serve a purpose other than to annoy someone. They might be built close to someone else's property, or in a way that blocks their view, or even just painted a really ugly color.

People sometimes build them for revenge or because of a disagreement, but they can also be built just for fun or as a joke. Either way, they're usually not very nice!
