Stage name

Okay kiddo, so you know how some people have special names that they use when they are performing in front of people like in plays, music shows, or movies? Well, those names are called stage names.

Usually, a stage name is different from a person's real name, which is the name they use for everyday things like filling out forms or going to school. Sometimes people choose a stage name that sounds cooler or is easier to remember than their real name. Other times, people might change their name because they don't want to be confused with other people who have the same name.

When someone uses a stage name, they are kind of like a superhero hiding their secret identity. People might not even know their real name, but they will know them by their cool stage name!
