Statistical syllogism

Statistical syllogism is a way of looking at a group of people or things and figuring out something about them based on the information you have. For example, if you wanted to know if your class did well on a test, you could look at how everyone in the class did. If most of the people in the class got a good grade, then you might conclude that the class did well on the test. That is an example of a statistical syllogism.
