Stein's example

Stein's example is a mathematical way of talking about data that can show us how two different things are related. It's a way of studying something called "correlation" which means how closely two different things are connected. In Stein's example, he looks at two groups of data, one group of numbers called "x" and one group of numbers called "y," and he measures how closely related they are to each other. It works by starting with two groups of numbers and then finding how close the two groups are to each other by looking at how the numbers are clustered together. If the numbers from the two groups are clustered closely together, then they are correlated and they have a strong connection. If the numbers from the two groups are spread out, then they have a weaker connection. This can help us understand patterns in data and figure out if two things are related.
